The Film Industry has tough times ahead.
I’ll just admin now, that in about 4 hours I downloaded a lot of unreleased films recorded in the cinema. They are so much better than the old Tele-syncs from 5 years ago.
Why.. well simply the cameras are all getting smaller and higher quality. At the rate that Mobile phones are improving, I’d say that in 3 years time, even Mobile phones will be able to make great copies of films shown in the cinema. So how will Cinemas police this? The answer, unfortunately is that they won’t be able to.
This will lead to greater Piracy.
Dreams
WTF, I just had a flashback from my long ass dream last night. I think I remember people working out what to steal and then stealing expensive knives and forks from a dinner party. I’ve watched so much shit on TV recently I can’t remember if I saw it there or not.
Flashtastic
Perhaps the reason no flash in iPhone is the threat of Adobe Air to it’s own development platform.

I’m not the only one!
Finally. Someone has talked about the interesting impact video game technology is going to have on society. What do I mean? Quite simply, Grand Theft Auto 10. Crysis 8. Gears of War 17. The games are going to be all 18+ just because they look so realistic. It’s going to confuse humanity. Once you can recreate any video everything will instantly be presumed to be fake. Regardless if it was a video of your wife sleeping with someone or your reaction to winning the lottery. It will all, eventually, be fakeable. And most likely by Joe Blogs.
It just happens to be John Carmack, who in theory could be one of the first people to realistically achieve it. He creates ENTIRE ENGINES on his own!
